Delete your account

Vitalium provides this page with instructions on deleting your Vitalium account and the personal data stored with it. You can delete the account in the app, or request deletion here.

How to delete your Vitalium account

Choose either option. Both delete the same account and the same data.

In the Vitalium app

The account is closed as soon as you confirm.

  1. Open the Vitalium app and sign in.
  2. Open the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Account.
  4. Tap Delete My Account.
  5. Confirm. Your account is closed immediately and you are signed out.

From this website

Use this option when you cannot open the app. We close the account within 30 days.

  1. Enter the email address on your Vitalium account in the form below.
  2. Confirm that you want the account deleted.
  3. Submit the request. We email support@vitalium.org and close the account within 30 days.

You can also email support@vitalium.org with the subject "Delete my Vitalium account" and the email address on the account.

Data we delete

Deletion in the app is immediate. A request from this page is completed within 30 days. We delete:

  • Your Vitalium account and sign-in, including email and password, Google, and Apple sign-in.
  • Profile information: name, username, profile photo, bio, and mailing address.
  • Health, training, and practice information saved on your profile.
  • Activity stored only on your account, including goals, bookmarks, and progress.

Deletion is permanent. Unused credits on the account are removed with it and are not restored.

Cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription in that store's subscription settings. Closing the account ends access in Vitalium. Store billing continues until you cancel it there.

Data we keep

  • Payment, donation, and membership records, including receipts from Stripe, Apple, and Google Play. We keep these for 7 years for tax, accounting, and fraud prevention.
  • Healing, training, and transfer records that include another member. We keep those records so the other person's history stays complete. Your account is closed and is no longer shown as active.
  • A short record of this deletion request, including the email address and the date. We keep it for 24 months so we can confirm the account was closed.

Request account deletion

Submit the email address on your Vitalium account. You do not need to install the app or sign in to send this request.
